I have to be honest.
I never wanted to stop blogging; just like I never wanted to stop writing in general. It just so happened that it took a serious blow to my mortal coil to bring me back. That doesn't mean I'll have something worth writing about every day, but I certainly won't disappear for five months or more.
For those of you following the Spider--and thank you so much for all the offers to try your male enhancement pills; I will respond to all 547 of your responses, Anonymous--welcome to your 'oh yeah, that guy' moment.
So, what happened? Where have I been? Why return? And, most importantly, why should you believe I'd be back to stay?
Wow. So many questions. Give me a sec.
Well, as to what happened to take me away, all I can say is I've been distracted by a long-running fan-flash-fic writing project (or series of projects) that have taken all of my writing time (and more). As to what happened to bring me back: two hospital stays in six weeks involving a heart that decided it would be more fun to vibrate rather than pump.
As to why I should return?
Because this is truly what I love to do. I may lack the mechanical skills at times. I may be the worst speller in the greater western hemisphere. But the fact remains that I love telling stories and even if one person appreciates that, I have to do what I love. What else is there?
As to why you should stick with me?
There's no real reason I can give you. The whims of an artist or writer can never be nailed down to anything specific. Stephen King will never stop writing and Margaret Mitchell stopped at one. All I can do is shrug and hope you'll be around for my full-fledged return.
All I can say to those who have supported me with blurbs on Facebook and prods in e-mail.... Is thank you.
