What a weekend!
Yeah, I know, I didn't keep up with the blog like I promised. I know I didn't reveal anything new about the pending blognovel project. I didn't even update my Me-And-Alanis profile picture on facebook.
So what did I do?
Well, the cat was away, so I ate cheese like a happy mouse. The translation? My wife was away on a weekend-long Scrapbooking Excursion, so I locked myself in my office (aka. "Man Cave") and surrounded myself with computer games and BAD television courtesy SyFy, G4 and Spike networks. Speaking of which, when did those networks decide that a marathon of Cops was good television? Meh.
So, yeah. The $50 in Girl Scout cookies was decimated, but water was saved as I went without showering. It. Was. Bliss.
In a disgusting, locked-alone-in-a-smelly-room kind of way.
In reflection? I'm glad to be showered and back on track. The brain was emptied and now is ready to be refilled. Happy Monday, everyone!
