Those of you who follow my twitter stream or facebook plotz know that I had a Eureka! teaser yesterday.
Well, I have good news for my fans out there. That's right. Both of you.
The new blognovel has a ghostline.
What's a ghostline? Well, it's like an outline but not nearly as rigid. It's like the outline for the idea of an outline. Bottom line (and that's a lot of lines), I am closer to blognovel lift-off.
Here's what's left to be done before you can start reading:
1) Cover art. I'm going to sketch out something or Photoshop something together. That's important because it'll be the cover of the site. It's also ongoing inspiration for me. When I write a blognovel I always slap my cover design on my computer's desktop to keep me thinking about it.
2) The site itself. I'll need to come up with a name, then slap it on a blog site.
3) Head start. I want to write ahead and at least be two chapters ahead of my posts. The blognovel itself will be updated once per week -- probably Wednesdays -- with a new chapter appearing first thing each Wednesday morning. Having the lead will give me the ability to backtrack a bit if I need to change something on the fly (remember: ghostline), and it will help to cover my butt if I get stuck or hung up.
Sound good?
See you soon.
