FRIDAY
Ahhhh, a warm dryer. On Friday, we had a visit from our friendly neighborhood appliance repair guy. Our dryer was fixed in less than 10 minutes and it only cost about $60. That was better than if I tried to do it myself. I'm sure the DIY approach would have put me in the hospital, we'd have dryer parts all over the basement, and there'd be nothing to say about Saturday and Sunday.
SATURDAY
Laundry day! Yeah, I know, exciting. As you may have guessed, laundry had piled up without a dryer for nearly a week. Beyond that, I spent part of the wonderful-weather day at my computer setting up a site for the new blognovel. I wanted to be out and about but really had no reason. Melanie was stuck inside as well, working on taxes. So, big sigh and scratch that one off the list. Saturday night we snuggled in and watched The Lost Boys. Boy, that was a call back to the 80s!
SUNDAY
House work. I cleaned, and I exchanged storm windows for screens. Not much else. It was kind of a busted weekend considering the weather. I can't wait to get my bike prepped.
THIS WEDNESDAY
Yeah, I know. It's not a weekend-day. But I wanted to announce a change to my spidering for the week. Star Trek Online (my crack for the past year) recently released The Foundry, the episode-creation tool for players. Essentially, it enables players to create and publish their own episodes. It's the reason I first got into STO and I'm not giving up now. So, every Wednesday, instead of blogging on the Spider, I'll be writing a script and applying it to my STO adventure.
I'll make a deal with you, though. Once my story is published, I'll also publish it here -- with screen shots! How's that sound?
Have a great week, folks! See you tomorrow.
